Sausage and Mash with Cider and Mustard Gravy

Serves: 4 

* Lean pork sausages
* Onions
* Cider
* Apple sauce
* Wholegrain mustard

Preparation: 5 mins
Cooking Time: 15 mins


In a non-stick pan dry fry 450g (1lb) lean pork sausages with , sliced, for 5-6 minutes until browned. Add to the pan 300ml (½pt) cider and simmer for further 5-6 minutes until the cider has reduced slightly.
Stir through and add 15ml (1tbsp) wholegrain mustard.

Serving Suggestion:

Serve with mashed potato stirred through with cabbage - or to vary the flavour even more try stirring through Stilton or other cheese of your choice.
